Tony, from Mahana Graphics, called us to discuss a project for printing on wallpaper for Hamilton library.  We ran some test on some specially coated textured wallpaper and achieved some great results. Artwork was produced by Bettles design agency and the imagery chosen had different themes for different areas of the library:

• French including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc
• Chinese terracotta warriors
• A historic 1961 map of Hamilton
• A 1960s psychedelic theme

Image quality was superb and the colours printed extremely vibrantly on the wallpaper.  Tiles were produced 1200mm wide by approximate drops of 3000mm high.  Special wallpaper paste was ordered and a wallpaper installer was commissioned to complete the installation. The result was incredible - exactly what the customer was hoping for.
